Praise You in the Storm
Psalm 55:8 (NIV)
I would hurry to my place of shelter,
far from the tempest and the storm.
Psalm 55:15-17 (NIV)
16 But I call to God,
and the LORD saves me.
17 Evening, morning, and noon
I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.
Psalm 26:2 (NIV)
Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands
toward you Most Holy Place.
Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV)
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills--
where does my help come from?!
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the maker of heaven and earth.

Casting Crowns version of this song was sung by a mother daughter team at our church today!

WONDERFUL verses!

I love that song. I bought their CD just because of that song. And your scripture is perfect. Thanks for the focus today.
I love that song!
I don't have the time to download videos with my ancient dialup :(
However, prasing God in the storm seemed to be a theme that ran through the Gospel Singing we attended last week. We all experience times in the storm, and praising Him somehow just lifts us above it.
I know someone who loves the fact that Luke is coming to your house even more than you do ... Luke!!! A
nd I might add his mama and daddy too since they are absolutely not thinking about how he is and whether he is having fun or being safe.
And that is what retirement is for -- pitching in where needed. Enjoy that boy!
