Thursday Thirteen #2
Hasn’t this been a tough week? After viewing disaster, horror, and unspeakable grief for hours I have decided to try to regenerate some joy in my own life. Therefore, my TThirteen will focus on things that make me smile—or maybe even laugh a little. Actually, while I was writing I thought of many more that would make the list. But this is Thursday; so here is a list of 13—in random order. 1. A clean house—especially if I didn’t have to clean it by myself! 2. A beautiful sunrise or sunset 3. A bowl of fluffy white popcorn 4. Good friends at the front door 5. My grandchildren—separately and all together 6. A new book waiting to be read. 7. A White Chocolate Mocha—Grande! 8. A Beth Moore story about big hair, Keith, Jackson, or the dogs 9. Christmas-- with grandchildren! 10. My husband’s “cheesy” grin 11. My sons and their wives—Especially when we are all together! 12. My brother’s long stories about life's adventures 13. My sister’s phone # on caller ID. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! |

What a nice list!!! The tragedy this week was just terrible. Thanks for giving us all something nice to think about and show us how nice life can be :)
Happy TT- Jessica The Rock Chick
What a great list! I can't wait for grandchildren! Well, I CAN wait, but you know what I mean! I hope I adore my children's spouses.
Good TT13! Mines up at http://anyapples.blogspot.com/
How nice! I love happy lists!
Amys random thoughts is having a blogging scavenger hunt starting May 1st. Details were announced today..Hope you will join the fun!
What a nice list. We really do need to try to appreciate the happy things in our lives that often go unnoticed. Thanks for reminding us!
Aw, Myrna. This is a beautiful TT. The big ol' bowl of white popcorn and a good Beth Moore book or blog entry sound delish to me.
I had a female principal back in 1971 (we had one of those open concept schools). I thought it was so neat that she was "the boss"; a great role model for us young gals.
I can only imagine how personal this week's VT attacks must have felt to you as a former educator.
I was sick over it. Clinging to Jesus and all that He is.
Blessings,
~Toni~
What a nice list! Many of the same things make me happy. I don't have grandchildren yet, but I am looking forward to them.
Thanks for visiting my T13!
