Ready for A Bible Study Blessing?!
Seems there is always a giveaway going on somewhere in the Blogosphere. Wasn't that a fun time last week?! I have sent books off today to two winners from my giveaway. They both chose Beth Moore's latest book, Get Out of That Pit. I know they will receive a blessing from that book.
If you have never studied the Bible with Beth Moore, you will want to stay tuned here at Cherish...the word! I will soon be announcing an event that will start in September. I gave you a little hint at the end of my post here last week. I would like to give you a little more information today.
I have enjoyed studying with Beth through several of her Bible studies and plan to work through the latest one, A Woman's Heart this fall with some friends here at my home. This is a newly released study that is an up-date of the original A Woman's Heart which was produced in the 90s and was Beth's first video Bible study.
I want to share this experience with blogging friends. Therefore, I'm working on a plan to do that. I was going to wait until the middle of August to tell you about it, but couldn't resist using last week's giveaway as an opportunity to let you know it was coming.
I am looking forward now to the completion of a button that we will use. Susie at Bluebird Blogs is working on it for me. She will have it to me by the middle of the month in tiime for the kick-off for Fall Bible Study at Cherish...the Word! We will begin sharing our study in early September.
If you have an opportunity to join a Bible study group near you that is using this particular Beth Moore study, I encourage you to sign up. If you don't know of a group in your neighborhood or town, you can look on the Bible Study Bulletin Board at LPM Ministries. You might find one near you. When we kick off the blogging friends study I will give you some more suggestions for ways to work along with us in this study. It should be an awesome time in the Word.
This will be really fun and a blessing to all of us. Stay tuned for more. There will be some giveways coming up in conjunction with the kick-off. We all love a giveaway--We certainly learned that last week!

I'm looking forward to more details on your Bible study, what a great idea to share with all of us blogging buddies! I will pick up the book at the store. This is a real outreach and making such good use of the blogasphere! (is that a word?) lol!
I am excited to hear more. Will you be able to hook us into the video portion of the study???
Or a better question ... can I be a little patient and wait for the details to come as they come? NO. I think not.
Becky--I have tried to find a way to legally do the videos.I can't do them directly from my site. Small thing called copyright law! I know we teachers are famous for skirting that issue (not you and me , of course!), but I'm married to an editor/producer. He just won't allow me to go to jail! lol The videos can be downloaded, for a fee, form Lifeway. I will have some suggestions about that a little later.

Our Ladies Bible Study leader at church just announced that we will be doing Beth's Fruit of the Spirit study. I've done it before (in fact I've done all of them), but I know I will learn something new this time around. I always do.
Bible Study....always a great time!
I will come back and learn more about the study. It sounds like a wonderful idea.

(And how I wish I could be a part of that Bible Study right there with you in your home...but an internet study sounds like the next best thing!) :)
